Regional College of Education, Gaya was established in 2011 under the aegis of Nav-Vihar Educational and Rural Development Society, Gaya. The college is geared especially to provide high quality education adopting the latest techniques and methodology for curriculum transaction and is poised to develop into an institute of higher learning and interdisciplinary research. The institution also aspires to kindle in the students the desire for lifelong learning and for reaching the unreached.

The College offers Teacher’s Training Programme at the undergraduate level – Two Year Bachelor of Education (B.Ed.) and Two Year Diploma in Elementary Education (D.El.Ed) programme, which  is a specifically designed package for in-service untrained teachers working in primary/ upper primary schools. Regional College of Education has a number of modern facilities to make sure smooth conduct of its course.
